Dr. Ulrike Conradi joined the Berlin office of Ogletree Deakins in 2015 as a partner. Since 2019, she has been the managing partner of Ogletree Deakins’ Berlin office and since 2024 of the Munich office. She also co-chairs the firm’s Global Reorganizations Practice Group.
Ulrike Conradi is a certified employment law specialist. She advises national and international companies and the public sector on all employment related matters, especially those relating to redundancies, restructurings, merger and acquisitions and privatizations, as well as post-merger integrations. Her expertise also extends to pay equity and transparency, discrimination, employee stock options and global mobility.
She represents employers in employment law disputes and in all matters under collective bargaining law, in particular in the conclusion of in-house collective bargaining agreements and works agreements as well as reconciliation of interests and social compensation plans.
Ulrike Conradi is also an expert in pension law and advises employers with regard to the implementation, modification, harmonization and closure of company pension plans as well as pension adjustments, the transfer of pension commitments and expectancies. In 2019, Ulrike and her team achieved a fundamental victory before the German Federal Labor Court (Bundesarbeitsgericht – highest labor court in Germany) confirming the integration of employees transferring to a new employer in the pension plan of the purchaser with lower benefits after a merger.
She publishes regularly on employment law topics and gives talks. Ulrike is a Client Choice Award Winner 2018 in the category “Employment and Benefits” for Germany, as well as a Client Choice Award Winner 2021 in the category “Labor and Employment”.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins she worked in the Berlin office of Baker & McKenzie.
