On August 1, 2022, new rules will apply to employment contracts and relationships in Germany. The German parliament (Bundestag) recently passed legislation implementing the EU Directive 2019/1152 on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions and, in doing so, dramatically revised the law regarding the information and documentation employers must provide employees. The German legislator also amended several other employment-related laws, including adding new obligations for employers under the Act on Temporary Agency Work and the Part-Time and Fixed-Term Employment Act. In this webinar, attorneys from our Berlin office will discuss these new requirements and the steps German employers can take to comply before the August 1 deadline.
This course is designed primarily for attorneys, human resources professionals, and executives, including in-house counsel, general counsel, and board members. We certify attendance for submission to bar associations or employers.
