COVID-19 infection rates are rising rapidly in many European countries. The situation in these countries varies dramatically and appears to be directly related to vaccination coverage. Several countries have reacted to the situation and have adjusted their legal framework. How are the governments of the individual countries dealing with the current situation and what regulations do employers have to comply with? What information is the employer allowed (and required) to process? What are the access restrictions in the workplace? In cooperation with our office in Paris, we will give you an overview of the new regulations with a focus on the situation in Germany and France; however, we will also refer to the latest developments in other European countries.
