In the context of rapidly rising infection rates and a sharp increase in the number of intensive care beds occupied by COVID patients, the German government decided last week to take tough measures to stop the “fourth wave”. With the recently passed amendment to the Infection Protection Act, employers are now obliged to monitor compliance with the 3G rule in the workplace and to process and store the corresponding evidence in accordance with data protection regulations. The legislator has also decided to reintroduce the obligation to work from home. We will talk to you about the specific implementation of the new measures.
